How long does a garage floor coating actually last in Minnesota?
Ten to twenty years, really – and there’s not much that’s going to have anything to do with the
product itself and everything to do with the preparation. Polyaspartic top-coating done over
concrete that hasn’t been ground down, tested for moisture levels, and filled with cracks isn’t
going to be sticking around through the winter months, regardless of what’s written on the
outside of that can. The tedious process of getting ready that nobody takes pictures of is why our
floors stick together after ten years.
